Terms of Service

What ELSE is

ELSE is a self-discovery tool. You answer short questions about your interests, and ELSE shows which of five interest areas your answers lean toward, why, and some small steps to explore them.

What ELSE is not

ELSE is not a psychological test, an aptitude test, or professional career, education, or mental-health advice. Results do not measure ability, predict success, or tell you which path is right for you.

Do not use ELSE results as the only basis for an important decision about your education or career.

Who can use ELSE

You must be 18 or older to create an account.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the "My results" page. This removes your account and your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people's data, overload the service, or break its security.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

The service

ELSE is an early pilot. Features may change, and the service may be unavailable at times. It is provided "as is", without guarantees, to the extent the law allows.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, we will ask you to agree to the new version before you continue.
